Guinea Pig Photos

Guinea_Pigs

Here are some pictures of our guinea pigs. Check back from time to time to see newer pictures as we post them. Their names are Coco (the tri-color) and Schizo (the tan and white one).

Stacey and I have been changing the guinea pigs' cage around a few times, and we finally have one where there is not a clothe bottom. We hope this will be the easiest way to keep their cage clean.

Enjoy!

Eco-Friendly Bottle

I just wanted to share a great gift idea (and a green one!) with anyone. This is the new Klean Kanteen water "bottle." It is great! Unlike Nalgeens (which I have loved for years), this water bottle does NOT leach harmful chemicles into your drinks, and flavored drinks do NOT stain the bottle. It is a easy and green (eco-friendly) way to enjoy all your beverages throughout the day.
This is the 40 oz. bottle, which is large. But there are lots of options, including the 27 oz. I recomend doing an internet search to find all your options. You can start at KleanKanteen.com for all the different bottle types (lids and holders, too).

Enjoy!

Memorial Day 2008

Stacey and I had a terrific weekend at her family's home outside of Philadelphia this Memorial Day weekend. We rented a Zipcar (a new Mazda 3) and drove the 5-hour trip back and forth, but it was worth it! I always enjoy spending time with Stacey's family, and they are always wonderful hosts. Now, it's back to work on Monday.

CCC Parish Picnic 2008

This Sunday (18 May 2008) Christ Church Cambridge celebrated the end of the church school year by hosting a picnic for the parish on the Cambridge Common in Harvard Square. The weather was beautiful and the turn out from the parish was great (about 200 people).

I brought my camera, and was able to take some pictures for the church. They are posted online, and I can give you a link if you ask. It was the first time I have used my camera for shooting groups of people or public events--its a little bulky to take into Fenway for the games. I have taken it on hiking trips, though. I love my camera, and I hope I get more chances to use it.

It was a great time celebrating with this community of faith, and I look forward to sharing more events in the life of the parish.

Peace,
